Doug Combs

~ Senior Pastor ~

Pastor Doug founded Church on Fire Ministries in October of 1996 and is the senior pastor. He delivers strong biblical messages that encourage righteous living. Seeing people born again and moving to Christian maturity are his passion. Pastor Doug was a youth pastor for 18 years before he felt the call to start CFM. His grandchildren, Carter, Masyn, Ella, Kelyn, and Grant are his joy. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Karen Combs

~ Office Administrator ~

Karen is the wife of Senior Pastor, Doug Combs. Married in their home church, West Flint Church of God in Flint, Michigan, together they have served in full time ministry for over 30 years. They have two beautiful married daughters and 5 wonderful grandchildren. Karen is the office administrator as well as being over various ministries within the church. Karen is driven by a passion to help people see their potential in the Lord and remove the scale the enemy has placed over their eyes and to see God for who He is and for others to see themselves as God sees them. When alone, along with the presence of her heavenly Father, Karen enjoys flowers, Classical music (and most music with out lyrics), beautiful stationary and the great outdoors. Her favorite scripture is: ..."for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil. 4:11

Pete Witt

~ Associate Pastor / Director of CFM Bible College ~

Pete and his family began attending Church on Fire in 1999 and came on staff full time in 2001. Pete Witt serves CFM in the areas of pastoral care ministries, adult discipleship, and as Director of CFM Bible College. Pete holds a BA from Miami University in Oxford, OH; Bachelor of Christian Ministry and Masters of Theology degrees from Faith Theological Seminary & Christian College of Tampa, FL. In his free time Pete and his wife Sandy enjoy spending time with their children and grandchild.

     

Mark Atwell

~ Children's Pastor/Director of Budget/Finance ~
Pastor Mark and his wife Martha joined the leadership team at Church On Fire in January of 2007. Pastor Mark graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University in 1990 with a B.A. in Christian Education and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds a diploma in accounting from Platt Business College as well as a B.C.M. from Children’s Ministries University in Lake Winona, Indiana. His interests include; being outdoors (doing just about anything), hassling cats, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, boating and camping (ah-la Atwell style). Pastor Mark and his wonderful wife Martha currently reside in Harrison with their 3 children; Cody, Taylor and Travis.

Eric Rodgers

~ Worship Pastor ~
As a worship pastor of Church on Fire Ministries. Eric’s desire is to create an atmosphere of praise and worship that draws people into God’s presence and introduces them to freedom through the cross. Eric and his wife, Shala, were married in 1994, and they have three Children: Chandler, Ashtyn and Addyston. Their family fun is putting on some jammies gathering around a jumbo bowl of popcorn and watching a movie!

Zack Woolwine

~ College & Career Pastor ~
Pastor Zack serves as the College & Career Pastor (The Annex). He and his wife Anna were full-time missionaries in West Africa before starting work with Church on Fire. Zack has a passion for the lost and to see the next generation set on fire for Jesus. He also has a love for the third-world and the unreached. He grew up in Florida and has a bachelors degree in Social Sciences from the University of West Florida. On July 19th 2009,their first child, Charlie, was born. Besides hanging out with Anna and Charlie, Zack loves photography, traveling, the outdoors, and surfing (he is starting to seek out alternatives now that they live in Ohio)!

Nate Derenski

~ Sr. High student Pastor ~

Nathan began attending Church on Fire Ministries in 1999 and serves as the Senior High Student Pastor. He began volunteering in the student ministry in 2002, while he attended the University of Cincinnati. In 2006 he obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration in Operations Management. Nathan's passion for students is driven by his own experiences. Nathan and his beautiful wife Rachel's vision for Switch Student Ministries is; To see teenagers come to Christ, For them to become disciples of Jesus, and for them to live a lifetime of passionate worship. They long to see this generation rise up and take their place in the body of Christ, and say, "Jesus Christ is our God, and we will serve Him with all of our hearts".

  

Dave Roark

~ Jr. High Pastor ~
WOW, What an AWESOME God we serve! God has blessed me with my beautiful wife Jennifer, and best buddy (and step-son) Tyler.  God has drastically changed our lives and placed a desire in our heart for students. We want to show students how exciting living out Gods plan for their life can be. Jennifer, Tyler and I enjoy camping, adventure, board games and vacationing together! When my wife and I are alone we enjoy interior design and finding treasures in other peoples garbage (if curious, just ask) Don’t be surprised if you see Tyler and I ripping down the slopes, shredding on our dirt bikes, or getting big air on our wakeboards.

Lisa Daniel

~ Young Married's Ministry, Wee Rock Nursery Director & Mom Time ~

Lisa Daniel has been a member of Church on Fire Ministries since it's inception in 1996. In 1998 Lisa attended Masters Commission in Atlanta, GA where God used MC to put a passion in Lisa to see His people rise up and take their place in the body of Christ. Lisa is also the director of the Nursery for children ages 0-2 as well as being over Mom Time. Her heart is to see mom's be all that God has them to be, and to raise the next generation for Him. Lisa and her husband Steve currently reside in West Harrison, and undoubtedly have two of the cutest kids in America. They and their two children, Carter and Ella love to spend time with their family.

Kristi Salatin

~ Assistant to Senior Pastors ~
Kristi has attended Church on Fire Ministries since March of 2007 and joined the staff in May of 2008 where she serves as the Assistant to the Senior Pastors. In addition, she oversees the Condolence Ministry. She also develops the weekly bulletins and assists with the communication needs within the church. Kristi and her husband Rich live in Okeana, OH and have been married for 20 wonderful years. She has been blessed with three beautiful children, Amanda, Alle and Ben.

Rosanne Moore

~ Wellness Director ~

Rosanne has attended CFM since April 2006 and began working in the office in August of 2007. Rosanne serves as the assistant to Pastor Doug Combs and as a liaison for CFM pastoral event coordination. Rosanne also develops the weekly bulletins and assists with the communication needs of the church. Rosanne is presently working on a bachelors degree in Women’s Ministry and 
serves with her husband, Randy, on the Outreach Ministry Team.

Christa Weiskittel

~ Bookkeeper ~

Christa has been on staff since 1999. She and her husband, Ron are part of the altar workers ministry. She loves praying and ministering to people and especially mentoring women new in the Lord. Christa and Ron have 8 children between them and 5 precious grandchildren with twins on the way. She loves being with her family, digging in the Word, cooking and flower gardening.

  Christa's favorite scripture is:  Deut. 33:12  "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between His shoulders."

Martha Jane Atwell

~ Receptionist/Preschool Director/Student Support Ministries ~

Martha Jane Atwell joined the Support Staff at CFM in January 2010 as Church Receptionist/Preschool Director/Student Support Ministries. She has served in Ministry with her husband Mark along with her sidekick, Bud -the donkey. She is always "Helping Little Hands Glorify Jesus!" MJ enjoys directing Dramas, Kids Musicals, Kids Church, Leading Worship, Preschool, and VBS. Her hearts desire is to see children of all ages from 0 - 102 have a real relationship with Jesus. She loves singing, playing keys, writing songs and doing crafts of all kinds. One of her favorite things is hanging out and doing ministry with her 3 Awesome Teenagers - Cody, Taylor Jane, and Travis. And most of all, the love of her life – Mark. :)
